Charles' new Saturn

Charles has needed a new car for quite some time. He has been looking for a good used commuter car. After months of looking we went down to Saturn today and bought a new Saturn Ion for a really good price! I was amazed. We love Saturns. The first car we bought when we got married was a Saturn. I think his smile is one of excitement and relief that he will not break down on the side of the road.

Jacob is in a residential school right now. It is challenging, but he gets to come home on Sunday. We have seen a marked difference in his behavior. It is very encouraging. This picture was taken on one of his recent visits home.

Victoria's new hair

I took Victoria to get her hair trimmed a couple of weeks ago. She decided she wanted it all cut off. We compromised and this is what she pick out of one of the books. I think it makes her look older. We have a couple of different styles that she can do, but this is the usual.

Mother's Day Tea

Last Friday I went to Julianne's classroom for a Mother's day Tea. We had a blast. She served me cookies and punch (no tea) and presented me a hat that she made, a book she wrote and illustrated, a letter, and a card. It was a blast. I will have to take a picture of the hat and post it.
