Family Time...

The weekend before Easter my sister, Delana, and her husband, Dan, came up with their two boys for a visit. While they were here they went to Busch Gardens with Jacob and Victoria. They all had a great time. Delana, Jacob, and Victoria came home drenched because they went on the water rides, crazy if you ask me (it was a bit chilly).

This is a picture at Busch Gardens with Dan, DeeDee, Joey, Jacob, and Victoria.

Of course they went on the carousel. Jacob looks like he is chillin' on the horse.

Charles and I stayed home with Nathanael, Julianne, and Logan (he was a little over 1 month old). I had a great time having a baby in the house!

Easter

Easter morning came early. Charles and I are teaching 2nd grade at church and had to be up early to get ourselves and the kids ready to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus! During the service all children, 4 year old to preteen, performed in front of the church. That included all four of our kids and Charles and I. We recited two scriptures and did a dance to a song. All of the kids did a great job. I have heard rave reviews from our friends that Charles was great to watch. I am so proud of all of them! This picture is after the service.

Snow in April...

This weekend was crazy! The temperature dropped again and it snowed on Saturday morning. I don't really think it snows here in Virginia Beach as a rule, but both Charles and I were looking at each other in amazement with the size of the flakes and the fact that the snow started to stick. Of course by mid afternoon the sun came out and the snow was gone, but snow in April was a sight to see!

Our First Trip to Busch Gardens in 2007

On March 25th we decided to take our first trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year. Our season passes were a Christmas gift from Charles' mom...thanks mom! We spent about three or four hours there. It got cold in the later afternoon, but we had a great time.
This is a picture of the kids before we entered the park.
